Memolink Pays - $10 Amazon.com Gift Certificate Redemption

I am reporting my $10 redemption from Memolink in the form of an Amazon.com gift certificate. Memolink’s site states that the rewards are usually processed and shipped within 7 days. The code was emailed to me within 4ys after redemption. I submitted the redemption via Memolink’s website on October 17 2010 and I received the email containing the code on Oct 21 2010. You need 19200 points to redeem for a $10 value reward. I chose Amazon.com gift certificate because it is one of the rewards which can be fulfilled via electronic delivery instead of risking snail mail’s delivery time and also risk of it being lost in the mail. (I’ve had experiences with MyPoints which I redeemed for a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate which never arrived and I basically lost my hard earned points). Just to be safe.

I have been a Memolink member since 2004 and I have received my rewards promptly after submitting my redemption request. Memolink pays!

You can collect points via various activities at Memolink (surveys, daily clicks, trivia, lotto, etc). You can also get points when you complete purchases from various popular merchants online (similar to cashback concept at BigCrumbs, only that you get points instead of cashback.) Points per dollar vary from merchant to merchant.

For certain activity completed, you receive a star which will entitle to MemoGold status once you have 10 stars (your Memo Meter filled up). Once you have filled you’re your Memo Meter with 10 stars, you’re eligible to upgrade to Memo Gold status which will be valid for 6 months. (Yes, you must manually upgrade to Memo Gold status, they don’t automatically upgrade you).

Below are the benefits of having Memo Gold status:
Additional 10% more points earned (for e.g. 5 points will now become 5.5 points)
Eligible to take Memolink Gold Trivia (10 questions per day for 11 points – because you get 1.1 point for each correct answer)

Other quick ways to help you earn more points:
Install the Memolink toolbar and get 1000 points (points rewarded once only)
Conduct internet search via Memolink toolbar – 5 points each (maximum 50 points per day)
Memolink Tasks - various point levels
Surveys – various point levels
Refer a friend – 100 points each.

I log on to Memolink daily to collect my points. Available guaranteed activities:
Daily trivia – 5 points
Daily site of the day – 3 points
Daily surveys – 10-15 points
Daily site visit – 1 point
Email click throughs – 3 or 6 points each.
Daily search via Memolink toolbar – 50 points.

Drop me a comment if you would like me to earn some points by referring you with your name and email address. Comments are moderated and your name and email address won’t be displayed unless you specify to. We should protect ourselves from spam. Bots can pick up email addresses published in blog comments easily and normally once you start receiving spam, you can’t stop them even if you keep unsubscribing them).
Of course, you can register for free on your own without giving me any points.

FreeRide $25 Amazon.com Gift Certificate Redemption (31,500 Tokens)

I checked my FreeRide account and realized that I have enough tokens earned in my account to redeem for a $25.00 value gift card/certificate. Then I proceeded to the redemption page "Redeem Tokens" to check out the available reward selections. You can redeem for a gift card/certificate from 15 options: Amazon.com, Ruth's Chris, Overstock Web Certificate, Home Depot, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Smokey Bones BBQ, Walmart, Target, Bahama Breeze, FreeRide Visa Gift Card, Barnes & Noble, and Options GiftCard Inc. You may also redeem for a donation to ASPCA and Make a Wish Foundation. I chose a Amazon.com gift certificate.

Amazon.com gift card will be sent via email only now instead of snail mail (+ point for going green). Once selected the redemption choice, the confirmation message will notify you to expect the redemption to be processed within 6 weeks and you have 24 hours to cancel your redemption in case you change your mind.
And I received a notification email to my registered email address notifying me about the redemption made. Also, it can be checked in the My Account page.

If you're interested to join, please leave a comment with your email address for referral. You can also sign up directly at FreeRide.com if you choose not to reward me with a referral worth 200 tokens :)

SurveySpot Pays with PayPal, Changed to Points System

I've been a SurveySpot member for quite some time and they have now changed to the points system instead of specifying the reward value by the dollar. Anyway, 100 points = $1, so it doesn't affect much in terms of the final value of the reward you receive from the surveys. The most important thing is, now SurveySpot pays out through PayPal! Previously only the check devilery through US mail option was available, but now thanks to this addition, cashing out is a lot more easier!

SpotWinner is Dead - No Relaunching in 2010

Dear all, it has been one whole year and I would say for now SpotWinner is dead. The promised updates and relaunching of the SpotWinner site for 2010 was never done and this is very disappointing because they were looking pretty steady at one point. Google around and you'll see many comments about delayed prize fulfillment. They owe me some points too. SpotWinner is a failure.

SpotWinner $20 Redemption Level Reached

Thanks to the recent win of $10 from SpotWinner, I've reached the $20 (20,000 points/SpotCash) redemption level. There used to be PayPal redemption options but seems like SpotWinner has removed them from the choices of redemption. Luckily, there are still the Amazon.com gift card option available and the Amazon.com gift card will be sent through email, which is a preferred option as we don't have to worry about the incidence of undelivered mail or lost mail.

Does Blingo Have a Future?

Well, ever since Blingo changed its search engine provider, I used less of it and used the direct Google search page mainly for my daily searches. For your information, back then Blingo was powered by Google, inarguably the No.1 search engine on the web today. Then there was Winzy, which never won me anything really and is one which does not focus on the search engine concept alone, so I said byebye to it as well. But at least I know that Blingo is powered by Yahoo! and LiveSearch. I think I am going to spend maybe 30%-40% of my searches to Blingo to get back to my winning ways.

Your2Cents Surveys $56.20 Earned

I was a member of a survey panel named Your2Cents which rewards me with surveys with $2-$5 compensations. I checked my account recently and the figures show that I've raked up $56.20 from Your2Cents surveys and a pending balance of 30,000 points which can be redeemed for $10. Your2Cents has been sending me very little surveys over the months. I don't know whether this is a sign that they ditched me or that they are closing down. Anyway, online surveys do pay!

AWSurveys February 2009 Status $124!

As of February 2009, my A.W.Surveys account has a balance of $124! Pretty good silent money coming in I'd say. I shall stow this away for a new PSP, hopefully a PSP2 if it ever comes out this year. Earlier I blogged about me getting my 1st payment from AWSurveys in November. The A.W.Surveys check arrived safely in the mail so this time I am going for the check option once I reach the $150 cash out level. (You can only redeem in multiples of $75, i.e. $75, $150 and so on) You can choose to have it paid via PayPal, but it would slash $25 off your redemption money for "expedited service". Personally, I rather wait a few weeks and get the $25 which I earned!

BigCrumbs PayDay $14.07 - Feb 16 2009

Today I received my payment form my activities at BigCrumbs. I was delighted to see an email notification entitled "Payday at BigCrumbs.com" informing me of the $14.07 deposited into my account. It proved once again that BigCrumbs works! It gives you cashback on your Internet purchases on top of collecting points/cashback from your credit cards (assuming you're making your payments using credit card as I am).
I pulled out a report from my BigCrumbs account today and I saw that my BigCrumbs referrals have been spending $8498.66 via BigCrumbs! This makes me believe that many of us are fans of eBay, coz "whatever it is, you can get it on eBay."
