SpotWinner $20 Redemption Level Reached

Thanks to the recent win of $10 from SpotWinner, I've reached the $20 (20,000 points/SpotCash) redemption level. There used to be PayPal redemption options but seems like SpotWinner has removed them from the choices of redemption. Luckily, there are still the Amazon.com gift card option available and the Amazon.com gift card will be sent through email, which is a preferred option as we don't have to worry about the incidence of undelivered mail or lost mail.

Does Blingo Have a Future?

Well, ever since Blingo changed its search engine provider, I used less of it and used the direct Google search page mainly for my daily searches. For your information, back then Blingo was powered by Google, inarguably the No.1 search engine on the web today. Then there was Winzy, which never won me anything really and is one which does not focus on the search engine concept alone, so I said byebye to it as well. But at least I know that Blingo is powered by Yahoo! and LiveSearch. I think I am going to spend maybe 30%-40% of my searches to Blingo to get back to my winning ways.

Your2Cents Surveys $56.20 Earned

I was a member of a survey panel named Your2Cents which rewards me with surveys with $2-$5 compensations. I checked my account recently and the figures show that I've raked up $56.20 from Your2Cents surveys and a pending balance of 30,000 points which can be redeemed for $10. Your2Cents has been sending me very little surveys over the months. I don't know whether this is a sign that they ditched me or that they are closing down. Anyway, online surveys do pay!

AWSurveys February 2009 Status $124!

As of February 2009, my A.W.Surveys account has a balance of $124! Pretty good silent money coming in I'd say. I shall stow this away for a new PSP, hopefully a PSP2 if it ever comes out this year. Earlier I blogged about me getting my 1st payment from AWSurveys in November. The A.W.Surveys check arrived safely in the mail so this time I am going for the check option once I reach the $150 cash out level. (You can only redeem in multiples of $75, i.e. $75, $150 and so on) You can choose to have it paid via PayPal, but it would slash $25 off your redemption money for "expedited service". Personally, I rather wait a few weeks and get the $25 which I earned!

BigCrumbs PayDay $14.07 - Feb 16 2009

Today I received my payment form my activities at BigCrumbs. I was delighted to see an email notification entitled "Payday at BigCrumbs.com" informing me of the $14.07 deposited into my account. It proved once again that BigCrumbs works! It gives you cashback on your Internet purchases on top of collecting points/cashback from your credit cards (assuming you're making your payments using credit card as I am).
I pulled out a report from my BigCrumbs account today and I saw that my BigCrumbs referrals have been spending $8498.66 via BigCrumbs! This makes me believe that many of us are fans of eBay, coz "whatever it is, you can get it on eBay."

Happy Valentine's Day 2009

Just would like to wish all couples a Happy Valentine's Day! Valentine spendings have declined in 2009 thanks (but no thanks) to the global economic downturn which has hit us pretty bad. I too, have cut my Valentine spendings this year. I did not order a bouquet from FTD or 1800-Flowers because the prices are ridiculous. They were already ridiculous in the past but since I am feeling a little bit tight on my finances like most of us all, I think the prices are absurd!
