I just received an announcement email from SpotWinner that I've been chosen as one of the winners of 1000 points in the February Home Giveaway! Lucky Feb. 29th!

Does Blingo Actually Pay? Yes, I Just Got Paid

Blingo
That's the question most of my friends ask when I recommend Blingo to them. The fact it, yes, Blingo pays. Blingo pays instantly! For the cases where I won $5 and $10 prizes, I chose Amazon gift certificates and the redemption codes are available immediately after I verified my information. In the case that you win, you'll be asked to enter your details and fill in a very long box of image verification to check that you're a human and not a bot which does automated searches. You'll also get to see all the redemption codes of your previous wins on your Blingo profile page. So my friends, Blingo actually pays.

Join Me at SurveySavvy, Earn High $$ Payout for Tech Surveys

I am a current member at SurveySavvy which is a survey panel which I joined a few months ago. This panel pays very very well for tech related surveys. So if you happen to be in the tech industry, this might be a good opportunity for you. Even if you're not, you are still able to take their surveys on a frequent basis. I have already made $93 for the past few weeks. Payments requested are issued through checks to your address. I made a first $18 cash out after not long and the check arrived in the mail faster than the stated 4-6 weeks, but unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the check to prove it. But I'll include a screenshot of my account status. Join me at SurveySavvy now!

Update Your Links Often, Trading Links the Smart Way

It is said that exchanging or trading links among friends and internet peers is a way to build more incoming links and thus generating more traffic to your site. Links on the website should be updated often enough to reduce as many dead links as possible. Also, when exchanging links with others, check back to see if the actual exchange happened. Then, later, after some time, check back the links to see if they are still up. Some websites might go through redesigning, upgrading or closing down. So if the links are no longer there, you should replace your blogroll or link section with newer exchanges/trades. It is not too hard to get new exchange peers as everyday, there are a lot of new website being started and everyone wants a piece of the linky love.

Adbrite Not As Effective As Adsense

Well, I ran Adbrite and Adsense ads on this site and the results are out. There's a significant difference on the performance of both programs. It's agreeable that Adsense is the ultimate program for you to display PPC ads on your site. My Adbrite earnings are far too low to disclose. So basically just think of it as not making any money for me. Although Adbrite seems to be able to compete with Adsense to some sense, it failed to prove its worth over the time which I tested it. Unfortunately, I am cutting off the number of Adbrite ads and putting more Adsense stuffs instead.

Alexa Redirect Not Working Anymore

The Alexa Redirect function does not work anymore. When the URL is clicked, which is prefixed with ” http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?, it shows the 404 page error as below:

The requested URL /redirect was not found on this server.

There are bloggers who use the “alexa redirect” plugin for Wordpress. They need to deactivate it. There are other who used http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect? to the their links. Those links are now dead links.
